Pricing Structure
Our pricing structure is variable and we will always provide a unique tailored quote based upon your company’s individual needs. However, we believe it is better to provide some estimate for our customers.
The daily rate for most aspects of our consulting starts at AU $1300 / day plus GST, with reductions for longer term contracts.
Here are some examples of previous engagements:
We gave data storage advice to a finance firm to ensure that their practices were inline with relevant regulations. This included a top to bottom view of how they acquire data (including permissions); how they store the data; and how they respond to and enact deletion requests. This was then applied to 13 regulations from around the world and advice was provided. We charged this out at a half day rate of $650 dollars to ensure it was a great expense for the customer.
We have provided longer term full vCISO rates to a high profile eComm company. Initially the work was charged out at the full $1300 / day 5 days per week to get the company up to a secure standard. Once this was achieved we advised that we could continue on at two days per week while maintaining their entire security and compliance posture, and that we would reduce our daily rate given the new longer term arrangement. What this meant was this company reaped all the benefits of a full time and experienced CISO, as we made ourselves available to all requests and incidents around the clock and continued to keep them up-to-date with the latest trends and projections, at just less than 50% of what they could have spent on an internal cyber professional.
We provided a social engineering penetration test for a large publicly traded company. This included spear phishing attempts against executives; spam emails against all levels of staff; and social media approaches to high access team members. We charged this out at 2 days of work at $1300 / day and achieved a success rate of 30% (which is well above average). The company then asked us to run IT security training for their team to improve their numbers. As we already had these presentations developed we charged only an additional half day of $650. This company realized that 30% of their team were vulnerable to cyber attacks and then had training to remedy this for only $3250.
